The Bank

An established, stable, growing and successful specialist bank, who offer a wide range of lending and deposits products to businesses and individuals throughout the UK.

The Role

Working closely with a director, you will develop and transact new property development finance business, ensuring efficient structuring, management and control of the loan portfolio.

You will be relationship focused, have strong credit skills, a proven track record in property development finance and ideally broader real estate finance experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Supporting the director in the growth and management of the portfolio
  • Demonstrate the highest level of credit stewardship and in-life loan management
  • Prepare and submit applications for new proposals to Credit Committee
  • Ensure KYC procedures are adhered to
  • Deliver a high-quality service to customers as required
  • Build and maintain relationships with key business partners and introducers
  • Monitor market developments and competitor activity
  • Provide input to Bank policy including lending guidelines, product development and overall risk management

Experience and Skills Required

  • Property Development knowledge gained in a similar role in a UK bank / lender
  • Business Development and Relationship Management
  • Good levels of literacy, numeracy and IT skills
  • Proactive and can-do attitude, desire to take ownership of matters and deliver solutions
  • Willingness to travel (in the UK) when required
