Position available: Academy Soccer Coach

Who are Challenger Sports? Challenger understands that players, coaches, parents and administrators all have different needs and priorities. By listening to our customers for over 25 years, we have created a TOTAL SOCCER company that caters to everyone involved in the game. Challenger Sports is owned and operated by some of the most experienced soccer people in the country, and our team of 13 offices and 150 full-time staff now provides a comprehensive range of services and products.

Academy Coach Role: Staff member will deliver soccer sessions to a variety of age groups, teams & players whilst following a set Challenger curriculum. This role will mainly involve:

  • Coaching sessions: Deliver sessions to players of a variety of ages
  • Logbooks: Keeping track of your hours & sessions
  • Session plans: Use Challenger software to provide online session plans
  • Communication: To all parents/players within our registration programs
  • Scheduling: Follow your schedule & be adaptable for any changes based on inclement weather

Location: Field sessions can be anywhere within a 1-hour radius of your home.

Requirements:

  • USSF or United Soccer Coaches qualifications preferred
  • Must be comfortable working with children of all age groups
  • Must have your own transport
  • All staff must pass a rigorous background check

Additional Notes: Please note we have various locations across the country & the exact day-to-day routines might vary slightly depending on your place of work.

What is TinyTykes? TinyTykes is a FUNdamental introduction to the game of soccer for players aged 2-6. Players learn the introductory skills of soccer through fun games and stories in weekly classes lasting 45 minutes each. Our soccer experts and child development professionals have designed an innovative curriculum for you to follow which introduces young soccer stars to the basic skills needed in soccer as well as developing their motor, social, and psychological skills.

What is the Challenger Soccer Academy? Challenger Soccer Academy offers professional year-round coaching to recreation and/or competitive players and teams aged 5 - 18 years old.
