Commercial Cleaner

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our facilities are safe, welcoming, and professionally maintained. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
• Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
• Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any faults or shortages
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
• Ensure all areas are kept tidy and presentable throughout the shift
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleaning protocols

Experience

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
• Good physical fitness to perform cleaning duties effectively over extended periods
