As a Graduate Field Service Engineer, you will begin your engineering career in a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will be supported through structured training, mentoring, and on-the-job learning. You will work alongside experienced engineers to service, calibrate, commission, and support electronic and mechanical process control instrumentation across a variety of industries. This role is designed for recent graduates who are keen to develop strong technical foundations, problem-solving skills, and professional confidence in a real-world engineering environment. Which tasks will you perform as a Graduate Field Service Engineer?
- Assisting with commissioning, calibration, servicing, and repair of onsite instrumentation
- Learning fault diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques
- Working closely with Service Coordinators to ensure tools, spares, and documentation are prepared
- Communicating with customers ahead of site visits
- Following quality and safety standards
- Travelling throughout the UK and occasionally internationally
