We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a full time MHE Driver in a well-established operation in Thatcham, RG19 4ND.
Pay Rate: £***** p/h
Typical working hours: Shift time: 10pm to 6:30am. Overtime can be available on Sunday from 8am - 4:30pm. 45 mins break (15 mins paid).
Your role as an MHE Driver:
- Operating Manual Handling Equipment (MHE), particularly pallet trucks, counterbalance, high level order pickers and Reach trucks.
- Manoeuvring forklifts safely in a busy warehouse environment.
- Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto bulk racking or pallets.
- Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport.
- Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas.
- Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages.
- Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures.
Skills Experience Required:
- Previous MHE experience required within a Warehouse/Distribution Centre environment.
- Must be able to work at height.
- Ability to communicate professionally.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Must be able to speak and understand English language.
- Ability to be flexible in relation to shifts hours.
- Must be able to work weekends as needed.
