We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a full time Transport De-Briefer in Northallerton, DL6 2PJ. ** Immediate start available** Your pay rate as a full time Transport De-Briefer: You will be paid £13.86 per hour Typical working hours as a full time Transport De-Briefer: You will be working Monday to Friday from 13:00pm until 21:00pm Your role as a Transport De-Briefer: De-brief all returning vehicles to the depot Checking for any damages and safety issues Communicating with Drivers regarding the daily runs and dealing with any issues Reporting any defects Managing VOR’s Downloading vehicles and tachograph machines Liaise with our vehicle maintenance providers Updating all Transport systems Scanning return and outgoing items Planning collections and deliveries Contribute to the success of the site by ensuring that all POD and Return processes are carried out in accordance with the site policy documents. Booking in collections for customers and completion of relevant paperwork. Booking in deliveries for customers. Investigate any collection queries. Ensure all paperwork is returned for all customer deliveries despatched from site, and chase outstanding POD’s. Liaising with staff at other depots and external contacts. Photocopying, printing, organising and storing documents and computer based information. Monitoring daily the clean POD workflow. Controlling period end spreadsheets. Compiling lists of outstanding POD’s and contacting the hauliers to request. Reporting the POD’s outstanding each day.What we are looking for in a successful candidate: An understanding of transport legislation and logistics operation Able to build good relationships with people even when under pressure Challenge any vehicle issues or damages with our Drivers React quickly to information and be able to solve problems independently Good communication skills both verbally and written Competent use of Microsoft, particularly ExcelLocation: Northallerton, DL6 2PJ.
