Pay rate: Night shift: Β£16.12 - Β£18.06 per hour
Overtime rate: Β£19.33 - Β£21.27 per hour
Shift: Night shift with guaranteed 4 shifts (30h) a week
Hours: 22:00 - 06:00
Location: Plymouth, PL7 4JH
Potential start: Thursday 20th November 2025

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be required to:

  • Work in the chilled section (2-5 degrees Celsius)
  • Pick items using a voice activated pick system
  • Operate LLOP (full training provided)
  • Contribute to performance and productivity targets set for staff
  • Pick/pack meat and alcohol

You must be available to work any day of the week, including weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Communicative English language skills are necessary to complete daily tasks (reading/writing). You should be able to commit to working up to five shifts per week if required.

For candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and potential, we offer training on MHE (Material Handling Equipment) for picking roles in both Ambient and Milk departments.

The contract is an ongoing temporary position which may lead to a permanent job for the right candidates. Please note this is a part-time position with the chance to gain more hours if needed.

This role is not suitable for students or anyone who can only commit to work for 2-3 shifts a week with rotated days and hours.
