Food Production Operative (Full time Position)
We are looking for several Food Production Operatives to work in a large food production and distribution site in Rogerstone, Newport NP10 9SA.
Your work rota:
- Days :- 07:30 -15:30 or 07:00 -17:00 or 06:00 β 18:00
- Nights :- 23:30 -07:00 or 23:30 β 07:30 or 18:00 β 06:00
- We are looking for people to work 3, 4 or 5 shifts per week (maximum of 48 hours) ideally on a fixed shift basis but we can be flexible
Your pay rate as a Food Production Operative:
- Standard Days: Β£12.21
- Standard Nights: Β£12.37

As a Food Production Operative, you will be working within a food production environment, and your duties will be as follows:
- Packing of customer product as per required specification
- Basic Quality checks of product
- General production duties
- Some lifting of product
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping and ensure food hygiene is adhered to
- To work effectively and safely in line with H&S requirements
- This is a fast-moving environment, all team members must work whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance within the hygiene regulations at all times
- General Duties outlined by your shift supervisor
As a Food Production Operative, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Able to start immediately and are looking for long-term work
- Previous food production experience is not needed
- Able to work up to 12 hours per shift
- You will be able to travel to NP10 9SA
