CTRG Limited are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to support trunking operations in the Coventry area.
Job Type: Full-Time / Potential Temp-to-Perm for the Right Candidate
Work Type: Trunking, Curtain Side
Shifts: AM & Late Shifts
Rates: Up to £37.34 per hour
What You'll Be Doing:
- Trunking runs from A to B
- Assisting FLT drivers with strapping/unstrapping curtain sides
- No hand balling
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday (weekend shifts available)
Start times from 02:00 onward
Pay Rates:
Days - LGV CE
- Standard: £16.84 - £17.93
- Overtime: £20.00 - £22.41
- Sixth Shift: £33.68 - £37.34
Nights - LGV CE
- Standard: £17.97 - £19.05
- Overtime: £22.46 - £23.81
What You'll Need:
- Valid UK C+E (Class 1) licence - minimum 12 months experience
- Valid DCPC & Digital Tachograph
- Understanding of Driver Hours & Working Time Directive
- Ability to complete safety checks and report defects
- Strong communicator with a flexible, can-do attitude
Mandatory Checks:
- Written driving assessment
- Physical driving assessment
- Drug & alcohol screening
