We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a full time Transport Planner in Northallerton, DL6 2PJ. **Opportunity to develop into a member of the planning team with a lot of upcoming systems** Your pay rate as a full time Transport Planner: You will be paid £15.71 per hour Typical working hours as a full time Transport Planner: This role is to support the central planning team in completing daily tasks and providing operational cover on a 24/5 basis, shift patterns that would need to be covered when requested Your role as a Transport Planner: Supporting the planning team with operational requests Monitoring and sharing knowledge on Transport Management systems Working with 3rd party suppliers to test upcoming releases to upgrade systems Using reporting to analyse plan vs actual Analysing routes produced from the planning tool and advising the planning team on what can be done differently Dealing with escalations from customers and internal help desk Pointing requests into the correct direction for answers Building a knowledge of operational and planning to have cover for planners during A/L What we are looking for in a successful candidate: IT Literate Flexible working hours …
