We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a full time Production Operative in Lockerbie, DG11 1LW.
Your pay rate as a full time Production Operative:
- £11.44 up to 12 weeks
Typical working hours as a full time Production Operative:
- Full time and part time available on fixed 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am shifts
Your role as a Production Operative:
- As a Production Operator you will be assisting with the efficient running of the packing lines in Production area within a busy milk production and packing site
- To contribute to the quality and technical areas in the Production team to enable it to produce the highest quality milk products in a reliable and cost effective way
- Effectively run Production and Packing lines by using production IT systems
- Perform simple maintenance tasks
- Monitor equipment performance and correct / raise issues before they become problems
- Ensure that a high standard on Quality and Health and Safety is maintained including compliance with Arla and customer procedures.
- Finished product quality checks

- Have a flexible attitude to hours of work which include weekend, shift working on a rota basis and holiday cover
- You must be a strong communicator, who is able to prioritise tasks in a timely and organised manner and contribute to regular department meetings
