We are looking for a skilled and experienced Car Panel Beater to join our Accident Repair Centre team. As a Car Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Inspecting vehicles to assess the extent of damage
- Repairing or replacing damaged panels, frames, and other structural parts
- Using body filler and other materials to repair minor dents and scratches
- Removing and replacing damaged mechanical and electrical components as necessary
- Realigning frames and chassis to manufacturer specifications
- Preparing repaired vehicles for painting
- Ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Keeping work area clean and tidy
- Maintaining equipment and tools
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Car Panel Beater in an Accident Repair Centre or similar environment
- Knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and processes
- Ability to use a range of hand and power tools
- Attention to detail and ability to work to a high standard
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
