If you are a passionate, patient and creative Teacher, Tutor or TA with teaching qualifications and experience with SEN learners, we want to hear from you!

As an Outreach Tutor, you will be expected to adapt your approach to the individual you are working with, and have the ability to quickly develop rapport with children and young people in order to support them in a way that works for them, and allows them to achieve their potential.

You will need to have an excellent understanding of SEND, have strong behaviour management skills and be proactive. Your role will involve tutoring and supporting children and ensuring that information is retained before the end of each session.

You will also need to have a good base level of Maths and English in order to effectively support the children you work with through various subject matter within these areas. Any additional experience or skills such as Makaton, MAPA/Team Teach, or autism awareness training would also be advantageous.
