Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail.
  • Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and maintaining office records.
  • Other duties to do with daily GP surgery work.
  • Support administrative tasks as required by the team.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.
  • Proficient in using computer systems with strong typing skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong clerical skills, including attention to detail for data entry tasks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
