About the role: As a Support Engineer at Chalk, you’ll be our front-line technical support expert, ensuring customers have exceptional experiences with our products. You will work directly with clients across industries like finance, healthcare, and e-commerce, helping them troubleshoot and optimize their usage of Chalk’s platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to deeply understand our technology, partner closely with our Engineering and Forward Deployed Engineering teams, and significantly impact customer satisfaction and product quality.
What you will do:
- Provide front-line technical support to Chalk customers, diagnosing and resolving technical issues promptly.
- Collaborate with Engineering to escalate and resolve complex issues effectively.
- Develop deep product knowledge to help customers maximize value from Chalk.
- Document solutions, create knowledge-base articles, and share insights to prevent recurring issues.
- Identify opportunities to enhance product reliability, usability, and customer satisfaction.
What we’re looking for:
- Technical background with experience in technical support or software engineering.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Previous experience in customer-facing technical roles is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting ML/data infrastructure or products.
- Understanding of Machine Learning operations and infrastructure.
- Previous experience in a high-growth technology startup.
