Chalk Hill Group are delighted to be supporting an internationally operating organisation, based near Weybridge, in their search for a French speaking Credit Controller. This role will offer hybrid working.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ownership of cash collection and focus on debt reduction across the Group
- Work with key clients, using influencing and negotiation skills, to bring payment terms in line with contractual obligations
- Monitor customer payments vs business level performance, ensuring limited risk exposure
- Obtain required information to perform credit checks, in order to set credit limits
- Identify and analyse high risk customers, identifying means to reduce risk where possible
- Liaise with lawyers for all legal matters relating to legal actions against international customers
- Liaise with external stakeholders for all legal matters relating to potential action against international customers
- Manage internal queries and mailbox
Experience required:
- Fluent in French and English (pre-requisite)
- Extensive experience of high volume sales ledger
- Basic accountancy knowledge
- Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Excel/Word
- Strong communication skills with ability to build and influence relationships, internally and externally
- Numerate and good analytical skills
- Proven ability for attention to detail and accuracy
