A Property business based in Dorset are seeking to recruit a Finance Systems Accountant to play a key role in developing and enhancing the companies group consolidation and reporting system. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working at the intersection of finance and systems, helping to automate processes and strengthen statutory reporting.
Working closely with the Project Accountant and external consultants, you'll help design, configure, and maintain the system - Workday Adaptive to support consolidated reporting, including the notes to the group accounts. You'll thrive in a fast-paced project environment, stay calm under pressure, and bring a strong drive to deliver results.
Key responsibilities:- Develop and optimise Workday Adaptive, focusing on group consolidation and statutory reporting
- Support mapping and reconciliation from Dynamics 365 into Adaptive, ensuring data integrity
- Configure, test, and maintain Adaptive models and structures
- Troubleshoot system issues and work with internal stakeholders and external consultants
- Contribute to wider systems and finance transformation projects as required
- Understanding of financial reporting and statutory accounts
- Proven financial systems experience with advanced-level Excel skills
- Experience with consolidation and/or planning tools (Workday Adaptive desirable)
- Confident, proactive, and able to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
