Management Accountant in Poole

Management Accountant Location: Poole Work pattern: Full-time, office-based (5 days per week) Chalk Hill Group is recruiting on behalf of a growing and acquisitive services business based in Poole. As the business continues to expand through both organic growth and acquisition, they are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to strengthen their finance function and support the next stage of growth. This is a full-time, fully office-based role , with an expectation to be in the Poole office five days per week. The Role Reporting into the Finance Director, the Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering timely, accurate management information and providing commercial insight to support decision-making across the business. Key responsibilities include: Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Providing financial analysis and insight to operational and senior stakeholders Supporting acquisition activity, including integration of newly acquired businesses Improving financial controls, processes and reporting across the group Partnering with non-finance stakeholders to support performance and cost control Assisting with year-end processes and liaising with external accountants and auditors About You The successful candidate will be a hands-on, commercially minded accountant who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
