A multi-site distribution business based in the Poole area are seeking to recruit a Financial Controller on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role and ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in day-to-day finance operations as well as higher-level reporting and control. This role will be full-time, office based.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and posting nominal journals
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Producing management accounts for directors and quarterly reporting to the bank
- Preparing audit files and liaising with external auditors
- Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
- Managing credit insurance and general insurance policies
About You
- Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, operational environment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Confident using ERP and online banking systems
- Able to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
