Chalk Hill Group are recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join a well-established and highly respected manufacturing business specialising in the design and manufacture of solutions for critical applications across a variety of sectors including aerospace, defence and power generation. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant (or someone qualified by experience) who is looking to progress their career within a supportive, high-performing finance team. The business offers full study support for professional accountancy qualifications and genuine long-term development.
The Role
- Preparation of monthly and annual accounts in line with UK GAAP
- Balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns, and general ledger management
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, audits, and capital expenditure projects
- Involvement in payroll, expenses, and accounts payable within a collaborative finance team
About You
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or qualified by experience
- Experience within a finance or accounting function
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on approach
- Keen to learn, develop, and progress within a growing organisation
