Chalk Hill Group are delighted to be supporting a growing Services business, based in Basingstoke, in their search for a proactive and commercially focused Finance Business Partner to support key stakeholders across the organisation. This is a contract position for 9 months to support some critical changes in the team. The role goes beyond traditional reporting — you will act as a trusted advisor, translating financial information into meaningful insight that drives performance, efficiency, and growth. Key Responsibilities Partner with senior leaders and operational teams to support decision-making and strategic planning Provide timely, accurate financial insight, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Challenge assumptions and influence stakeholders to improve financial and operational performance Develop financial models and business cases for new initiatives, investments, and pricing decisions Support month-end processes and ensure financial data integrity Identify risks and opportunities, recommending actions to optimise profitability and cash flow Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and reporting About You Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) Proven experience in a Commercial Finance/Finance Business Partnering role, ideally within a services environment Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and challenge constructively Excellent communication skills — able to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems and BI tools desirable Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving organisation Chalk Hill Group is a Recruitment Agency.
