Chalk Hill Group are working with a well-established professional services business to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their London-based Finance Team.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the monthly billing process, including raising and reviewing invoices.
Producing fee forecasts and projections.
Monitoring WIP, project budgets and profitability.
Preparing project financial analysis and monthly reporting.
Investigating and resolving billing and financial discrepancies.
Working closely with Project Managers and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are billed accurately and on time.
Supporting management accounts and audit processes.
Helping improve project financial processes and systems.
You'll ideally have:
Strong billing and WIP experience.
Good Excel and financial analysis skills.
Experience working with project accounting or project management systems.
Knowledge of VAT and billing compliance.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
