Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Sourcing Strategies: Create and implement innovative sourcing strategies for IT procurement, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality acquisitions across software, hardware, cloud, and telecommunications.
- Manage Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify new suppliers and cutting-edge sourcing solutions.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal teams to understand and meet their IT requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze procurement performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and optimize processes.
- Reporting and Documentation: Ensure timely and accurate procurement reporting and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant commercial role such as sourcing, category management, account management, sales, with exposure to IT. Experience with software, hardware, cloud services, or telecommunications is a strong plus.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and strategic supplier management capabilities, with a proven track record of achieving cost savings and service improvements.
- Industry Knowledge: Excellent understanding of IT solutions, including current trends and technologies.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong skills in analyzing data, market trends, and supplier performance to support informed decision-making.
- Communication: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Interpersonal Skills: Effective communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
