We’re looking for a Fitness Activities Coordinator to join our on-site Fitness Team, based within The Activity Place, a vibrant community centre supporting adults with disabilities to stay active, connected and engaged. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their fitness career who is keen to build experience in a specialist, inclusive environment.
About the role
As a Fitness Activities Coordinator, you’ll support the planning and delivery of engaging, person-centred activity sessions, including gym activities, games and Rebound Therapy. You will:
- Deliver inclusive fitness sessions, adapting activities to individual needs and goals
- Work alongside Physiotherapists and colleagues to support safe progression
- Help create positive, enjoyable experiences for people with complex disabilities
- Maintain high standards of safety, customer care and record keeping
- Contribute ideas to develop sessions and activities within The Activity Place
This is a hands-on role where energy, creativity and teamwork are key.
About you
You’ll be enthusiastic, caring and keen to learn, with a genuine interest in inclusive physical activity. You’ll also bring:
- A recognised Level 3 Fitness qualification
- Some experience working in a fitness or activity environment
- A positive, patient and flexible approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- An interest in supporting people with disabilities (experience welcomed, not essential)
