Our new Director of Care will provide inspirational leadership for social care services, ensuring the delivery of exceptional clinical and care standards alongside regulatory compliance. You will champion our reputation as a centre of excellence in supporting children and young adults with complex health needs, fostering collaborative partnerships with families and multi-disciplinary teams. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Care will play a key role in promoting a values-driven culture focused on colleague experience and workforce development, driving sustainable growth and financial objectives in line with the organisation’s strategic priorities. The Candidate: Recognised clinical or social care qualification Senior management of regulated services and a track record of achieving excellent inspection outcomes Working experience within the relevant regulatory regime: Ofsted Social Care, CQC, residential & domiciliary care Knowledge and experience in safeguarding Knowledge and understanding of legislative framework for children and adult’s social care and how these apply to children and adults with disabilities and health needs Experience of working with individuals with complex needs and their families/carers Financial planning experience including financial control and monitoring and budget formulation Knowledge and experience of workforce management and colleague development including managing employee relations Closing date for applications: 9am on Friday 17th January 2025
