Godolphin was founded 300 years ago. It joined United Learning in May 2024 and became a co-educational senior school in September 2025. Chafyn Grove School was founded 146 years ago and joined United Learning in May 2025. Both schools have strong reputations serving generations of local families whilst providing boarding facilities for pupils from both the UK and overseas. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised, detail-oriented and proactive Examinations Officer to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and successful delivery of all internal and external examinations at Chafyn Godolphin.
The role sits at the heart of the school's impressive academic provision and contributes directly to ensuring that students are able to demonstrate their achievements fairly and successfully. In this role, you will:
- Lead the administration of all public and internal examinations across the school.
- Ensure full compliance with JCQ regulations and awarding body requirements.
- Recruit, train and oversee a team of examination invigilators.
- Work closely with teaching staff, the Learning Support team and senior leaders to ensure examinations run smoothly.
- Contribute to the continuous development of examination processes and best practice across the school.
