A long established and well respected regional law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join its Yeovil office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career within a supportive, collaborative environment where high quality client service and professional development are genuinely prioritised.

Role

  • You will manage a varied and rewarding caseload across the full spectrum of private client matters, including:
    • Wills, trusts and estate planning
    • Probate and estate administration
    • Powers of attorney
    • Tax and succession matters
  • Working closely with clients to build long term relationships
  • Supporting departmental planning and business development
  • Sharing knowledge and best practice across the wider team
  • Mentoring junior colleagues while maintaining autonomy in your own work

Candidate Requirements

  • This role is ideal for a solicitor with:
    • Minimum 2 years' PQE in private client law
    • Strong technical skills across a broad range of private client matters
    • A client focused, proactive approach
    • Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
    • Confidence managing files independently
    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
    • A genuine interest in business development and team collaboration
