I am supporting a well‑established law firm that is looking to recruit a full‑time Private Client Legal Executive to join their Wills, Trusts and Estate Administration team. The successful candidate will work alongside two experienced Partners within a friendly, supportive department that encourages professional development and high‑quality client care.

Key responsibilities

  • Estate and trust administration
  • Drafting Wills
  • Preparing and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Court of Protection and attorneyship work
  • Regular client contact, including face‑to‑face meetings
  • Providing clear, tailored advice in line with each client's needs
  • Progressing matters efficiently and keeping clients updated on costs and timelines
  • Using available administrative support to ensure smooth file progression
  • Assisting with basic financial administration on files (with support from the cash office team)
  • Supporting Partners with marketing and business development activities
  • Maintaining compliant, well‑organised and up‑to‑date files
  • Preparing correspondence and documents using Microsoft Office
  • Ensuring confidentiality and security of all client information

Skills & experience required

  • Recent experience managing your own matters within a Wills & Probate or Private Client team
  • Strong communication and client‑care skills
  • Ability to work proactively, use initiative, and support the wider team
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate typing skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Passionate about private client work with a strong work ethic
  • Full, clean driving licence
