Leading West Midlands firm seeks a senior employment solicitor to join their expanding Brierley Hill team.
Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of employment law matters including contracts, disciplinary matters, grievances, redundancy, TUPE, and tribunal claims.
- Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in both contentious and non-contentious employment issues.
- Represent clients in employment tribunal proceedings. You will need to have experience issuing employment tribunal claims and dealing with ACAS Early Conciliation.
- Support individuals and businesses.
- Assist with settlement agreements and negotiation with the other side.
About you
- Qualified Solicitor and be able to work unsupervised.
- Proven track record handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
