A respected and progressive regional law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Associate to join its highly regarded team in Torquay. The Role

  • You will manage a complex and varied caseload while taking on a leadership role within the team.
  • Handling Wills, Estate Administration, Probate, LPAs, Trusts and Inheritance Tax Planning.
  • Supervising, mentoring and developing junior colleagues.
  • Contributing to process improvement and best practice.
  • Leading on business development and strengthening client relationships.
  • Playing an active role in the strategic direction of the department.

Candidate Requirements

  • 5+ years' PQE in private client work.
  • STEP membership (or working towards it) desirable.
  • Strong technical expertise across the full private client spectrum.
  • Proven ability to manage complex matters independently.
  • Confidence supervising and supporting junior team members.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to generate new business.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to exceptional client care.
  • A collaborative, proactive and professional approach.
