This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded Private Capital / Tax & Trusts team, working on a varied and high-quality caseload. You'll support high-net-worth clients on complex trust and tax matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing your own caseload of trust administration, compliance and tax work
  • Advising on the creation, structuring and ongoing management of UK trusts
  • Drafting trust deeds, letters of wishes and related documentation
  • Providing guidance on trust taxation (including income tax, CGT and inheritance tax)
  • Preparing or overseeing trust accounts and annual tax returns
  • Working closely with tax specialists, accountants and STEP-qualified professionals
  • Supporting wider private client teams with lifetime planning and wealth protection advice

You’ll be part of a Legal 500 Tier 1‑ranked team known for its technical strength and quality of work.

Candidate Requirements

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working on complex matters and building strong client relationships. You will ideally have:

  • Qualification as a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Trust Specialist (or equivalent experience)
  • Around 2-4 years’ PQE (although flexibility will be considered)
  • Strong experience in trusts and private client work
  • Knowledge of trust administration and tax compliance
  • Experience managing your own caseload in a busy environment
  • Excellent organisation skills with strong attention to detail
  • A proactive, 'can-do' attitude and ability to work collaboratively
  • Confidence dealing with high-net-worth clients and multiple stakeholders
