A well established and progressive law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (3-6 years PQE) to join its expanding Private Client team on a fully remote basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong fee earner seeking flexibility, autonomy and the chance to contribute to a growing, modern practice.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing a varied and high quality Private Client caseload, including:

  • Wills and estate planning
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Inheritance Tax advice
  • Estate administration (including complex and taxable estates)
  • Trusts and lifetime planning
  • Court of Protection and deputyship matters
  • Supporting elderly and vulnerable clients
  • Foreign assets or cross border estate matters (desirable but not essential)

You will also play an important role in maintaining strong client relationships and supporting the continued development of the team.

Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to a Private Client specialist who is:

  • A Solicitor (3-6 years PQE) or Chartered Legal Executive (essential)
  • STEP / TEP qualified (desirable)
  • An experienced Private Client fee earner with strong technical ability (essential)

You will need:

  • A proven track record of managing your own Private Client caseload
  • Strong technical knowledge across core Private Client areas
  • Recent estate administration experience
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • The ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism
  • Confidence working independently in a remote environment
  • A proactive, solutions focused approach
  • Experience mentoring junior colleagues would be beneficial.
