A respected and purpose driven law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancer, Solicitor, or Chartered Legal Executive to join its highly regarded Real Estate Team in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity for a property specialist looking to progress their career within a supportive, collaborative, and values led environment.
The Role
- You'll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of residential property matters, including:
- Sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and lease extensions
- Providing expert legal advice on all aspects of residential conveyancing
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Conducting legal research and staying up to date with property law developments
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties
- Handling negotiations and resolving issues arising during transactions
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and professional standards
- Attending clients in the office or externally when required
- Working collaboratively within the Real Estate Team and wider firm
- Maintaining CPD requirements and actively developing legal knowledge
- Participating in team meetings, marketing initiatives, and business development activities
Candidate Requirements
- Essential
- Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or experienced Conveyancer
- Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and property law
- Proven experience managing a full caseload from exchange to completion
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to manage a high volume caseload efficiently
- IT proficiency, including experience with case management systems
- Desirable
- Experience supervising junior colleagues
- Track record in marketing or business development
- A following (not essential)
