We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Commercial Property Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join a growing and highly regarded team in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior lawyer looking to take the next step in their career, with genuine potential to progress into a non-equity director position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse and high quality caseload of commercial property matters
- Advise on commercial conveyancing, landlord and tenant matters, small business acquisitions, development schemes (2-20 plots), option agreements, enfranchisement, lease extensions, guarantees, indemnities, asset transfers and commercial finance security
- Provide clear, pragmatic and commercially focused advice to a wide range of clients, including high net worth individuals, developers, charities and business owners
- Lead on transactions and support junior team members where required
- Build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional client care
- Contribute to business development, networking and the growth of the department
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
- Maintain excellent organisation, attention to detail and compliance with regulatory requirements
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales), ideally with 3+ years' PQE in commercial property
- Strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage your own caseload independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Highly organised, proactive and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- A team focused approach with the ability to support and mentor others
- Ambitious, commercially aware and keen to progress into a senior leadership role
- Experience in general commercial law (e.g., shareholder agreements, company law) or contentious matters is welcomed but not essential
- Comfortable with modern IT systems and open to using new technologies to enhance efficiency
