Overview

In this role you will manage a busy residential conveyancing caseload across freehold/leasehold sales, purchases, new build transactions, transfers of equity, and remortgages. Working within the Homemove team in Swindon, you will liaise with clients, agents, and solicitors to deliver high-quality service and meet targets. The position supports the growth of the department and fee income, with hybrid working options. You will develop introducer relationships and contribute to an inclusive, collaborative culture. This is an opportunity to shape a key regional conveyancing practice within a respected firm.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters (freehold/leasehold sales & purchases)
  • Handle new build transactions and transfers of equity
  • Coordinate remortgages and related processes
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, financial advisers, and other solicitors
  • Generate fee income in line with targets and broaden introducer relationships
  • Collaborate with a support team to ensure efficient file management and client service

Key requirements

  • 5+ years PQE (Solicitor or CILEx)
  • Strong technical knowledge across residential property matters
  • Personable and proactive client care
  • Confidence managing a busy caseload independently
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
