A leading regional law firm is seeking a talented 3-5 PQE Corporate Lawyer to join its growing Business Team (Commercial, Corporate & Employment) in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious lawyer looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative, forward thinking and expanding team.

The Role

  • You will work closely with business owners, corporates and entrepreneurs across a wide range of sectors including IT, technology and life sciences.
  • Your work will include:
    • Acquisitions and disposals
    • Management buyouts and founder exits
    • Shareholders' agreements and joint ventures
    • Early stage to private equity investments
    • Group reorganisations and governance matters
    • Partnership agreements
    • Supporting senior lawyers on complex transactions
    • Managing your own caseload and delegated work
    • Contributing to business development and building new client relationships

As the team continues to grow, this role offers genuine scope for progression, with opportunities to take on greater responsibility, develop specialist interests and help shape the future direction of the Business Team. You will also benefit from ongoing training, regular supervision and access to senior mentors who will support your development and long term career growth.

About You

  • 3-5 years' PQE in corporate law
  • Experience gained within a corporate or commercial law firm
  • Strong technical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident managing a varied caseload in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communicator with excellent client facing skills
  • Commercially aware, proactive and solutions focused
  • Skilled in analysis, negotiation and delivering clear, practical advice
  • Ideally, experience or exposure to M&A and private equity work
