A well established regional law firm with a strong presence across the Thames Valley and South of England is looking for a Commercial Lawyer to join their growing Business Team in their Swindon office. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-4 years' PQE who wants high quality work, variety and a clear route to progression within a supportive, ambitious team.
The Role
- You'll work with a broad mix of clients from start ups and entrepreneurs to charities, SMEs and UK subsidiaries of international groups.
- The work is varied and engaging, including drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, advising on IP, IT and data protection, preparing bespoke licences, supporting corporate transactions and working on emerging tech matters, including AI related developments.
- You'll manage your own caseload, support senior lawyers, collaborate across departments and play an active role in networking and business development.
- There's also scope to mentor junior colleagues as the team continues to grow.
About You
- 1-4 years' PQE in commercial law (private practice or in house)
- Strong drafting skills and commercial awareness
- Confident working directly with clients and managing multiple priorities
- A proactive, organised and collaborative approach
- Comfortable presenting, networking and building trusted relationships
