A Legal 500 Tier One ranked Personal Injury team is seeking an experienced Senior Associate (6+ PQE) to join its well established and growing practice in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high value, complex matters within a supportive, specialist team known for exceptional client care and technical excellence. The role is particularly suited to someone with specialist experience in fatal road traffic accident claims.
The Role
- Managing a complex and sensitive caseload, including:
- Fatal road traffic accident claims
- Claims involving vulnerable clients
- Cycling related injury claims
- Injuries caused by animals
- High value and technically challenging personal injury matters
- Liaising with experts, counsel, referrers and key stakeholders
- Supporting the wider team and contributing to the departments business plan
- Taking on selected line management responsibilities
- Playing a key role in the continued growth and development of the team
Candidate Requirements
- 6+ years PQE in personal injury
- Substantial experience in fatal RTA claims
- Strong client management skills and a commitment to exceptional service
- Proven ability to generate new business through successful BD activity
- Excellent technical knowledge and sector awareness
- Ability to supervise, mentor and support junior colleagues (desirable)
- A solid business plan or growth proposition (desirable)
- A proactive, organised and collaborative approach
