A well established regional law firm is seeking an experienced Land & Property Lawyer (5+ PQE) to join its dedicated team in Crewkerne. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key role within a supportive, inclusive and forward‑thinking environment, with genuine scope for career progression from Associate through to Salaried Partner level.
The Role
- Work as one of the lead lawyers within a specialist Land & Property team, managing a full and varied caseload with a residential property bias.
- Handle matters from instruction through to post‑completion.
- Manage your own caseload with minimal supervision.
- Work towards time recording and billing targets.
- Supervise Trainee Lawyers and support staff (desirable).
- Advise on a broad range of land and property matters.
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the department.
A wider knowledge of land work is highly desirable, as is familiarity with the local market or a connection to the area.
About You
- A 5+ PQE Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
- Experienced in residential property and general land law.
- Confident managing a busy caseload independently.
- Skilled in client care, communication and organisation.
- Ideally experienced in supervising junior team members.
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach.
