Salary: Β£45,000 - Β£55,000 (depending on experience)

A respected UK law firm is seeking two Solicitors with 0-3 years' post-qualification experience to join its specialist Military Department in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a collaborative environment, focusing on claims involving military deafness and non-freezing cold injuries.

The Role

  • Taking initial client enquiries and drafting witness evidence
  • Managing high volumes of disclosure documents
  • Updating clients and handling telephone enquiries
  • Assisting in instructing counsel
  • Preparing court documents and detailed schedules of loss
  • Assessing complex medical conditions and reviewing medical reports
  • Reviewing expert reports (acoustic engineering, occupational health, environmental, military training)
  • Advising on breach of duty and quantum offers
  • Supervising and supporting the Paralegal team

Candidate Requirements

  • 0-3 years PQE (claimant litigation exposure essential)
  • Experience managing a caseload independently
  • Previous experience with noise-induced hearing loss claims (advantageous but not essential)
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
