Solicitor - Criminal Defence - Clifton - 3+ Years' PQE Location: Clifton Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 (dependent on experience) A well established and supportive regional law firm is seeking a Criminal Defence Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE to join its busy and respected team in Clifton. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with an experienced Head of Department, handling a varied caseload of regulatory and criminal defence matters while benefiting from strong team support, high quality work and clear progression opportunities. The Role You will work closely with the Head of Department and take responsibility for your own caseload. Duties include: Representing clients throughout all stages of their case Managing your own files, providing both litigation and advocacy expertise Attending Crown Court with Counsel Delivering exceptional client care and maintaining strong relationships Continuing to develop and grow your own caseload Contributing to the expansion of the regulatory and criminal defence practice Candidate Requirements This role is suited to a qualified Solicitor with: 3+ years' PQE in criminal defence Eligibility for immediate duty solicitor deployment Ideally, an existing following or established client relationships Strong advocacy skills and excellent client care The ability to manage a busy, varied caseload with confidence A proactive, committed and professional approach Benefits The firm offers a positive and well structured working environment, high quality work, ongoing training and clear opportunities for progression.
