A well established, nationally recognised law firm is seeking an NQ-1 year PQE Solicitor to join its highly regarded Commercial Property team in Cheltenham. This opportunity offers exposure to high quality, varied commercial property work within a supportive, ambitious and people focused environment.
The Role
- You will handle a diverse caseload and support senior lawyers across a broad range of commercial property matters, including:
- Buying, selling, leasing and development work
- Transactions across sectors such as retail, industrial, education, healthcare and rural estates
- Working closely with a Partner specialising in Education Property, including academy conversions, transfers and independent school mergers
- Advising clients on a wide range of commercial property issues
- Building strong internal and external relationships and contributing to business development
- Ensuring excellent technical standards and compliance
Candidate Requirements
- This role is suited to a newly qualified solicitor or someone with up to 1 year PQE who can demonstrate:
- Experience in commercial property through a training contract seat and/or paralegal role
- Strong technical and drafting skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain strong client relationships
- High attention to detail and strong commercial awareness
- A proactive, organised and ambitious approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
