A leading regional law firm is seeking a Lifetime Planning Solicitor to join its growing and strategically important Private Client team in Stroud. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern, people-focused practice that has invested heavily in developing specialist Probate and Lifetime Planning offerings to meet increasingly complex client needs.
The Role
- You'll work closely with individuals, families and business owners to provide thoughtful, practical and commercially minded advice across a broad range of future planning matters, including:
- Advising on Wills, trusts and LPAs
- Supporting succession and estate planning matters
- Identifying clients' underlying needs, risks and objectives
- Building strong relationships with clients and referrers
- Networking and business development activity
- Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues
- Helping shape and grow a modern Lifetime Planning offering
This is a relationship-led role suited to someone who enjoys guiding clients through sensitive and forward-looking decisions, becoming a trusted adviser over the long term.
Candidate Requirements
- This role is suited to a personable, commercially aware lawyer with:
- Experience within Lifetime Planning or wider Private Client work
- Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Ability to translate complex legal and financial concepts into clear, practical advice
- Confidence guiding clients who may be uncertain or navigating sensitive family dynamics
- A proactive, client-focused and commercially minded approach
- Strong relationship building skills and motivation to grow networks
- Collaborative mindset and supportive team approach
- Passion for delivering exceptional client experiences
