An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Serious Injury Lawyer to join a specialist team handling high value and catastrophic personal injury claims. This role is ideal for a driven and compassionate litigator who wants to make a meaningful difference to clients living with life changing injuries.
You will manage a complex caseload of claims typically valued in excess of £1 million, including serious orthopaedic injuries, spinal and brain injuries, amputations and multi trauma cases arising from road traffic collisions, workplace accidents and public liability incidents.
The Role
- Managing a caseload of high value serious injury and catastrophic injury claims
- Leading on litigation strategy and progressing cases efficiently
- Liaising directly with clients, medical experts, counsel and insurers
- Preparing cases for settlement meetings, joint settlement discussions and trial
- Providing guidance and support to junior lawyers within the team
- Ensuring clients receive clear, empathetic and high quality legal advice throughout their claim
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience handling serious injury or catastrophic injury claims
- Strong litigation, negotiation and case management skills
- Ability to manage a significant and complex caseload independently
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A client focused approach and commitment to achieving outstanding outcomes
- Confidence in working collaboratively while supporting junior colleagues
