A leading national law firm is seeking a Serious Injury Lawyer with 2-6 years' experience to join its expanding team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work on some of the most high profile and life changing cases in the UK, within a supportive, collaborative and well resourced environment.
The Role
- You'll be responsible for managing a caseload of intermediate and multi track matters, with opportunities to assist on catastrophic injury cases.
- Work will include:
- Serious orthopaedic, brain, spinal and amputee injuries
- Fatal accident claims
- Early intervention and rehabilitation focused work
- Regular client contact, including face to face meetings and Court visits
- Liaising with medical experts, counsel and other professionals
- Progressing cases proactively and meeting litigation deadlines
- Valuing quantum and negotiating effective settlements
- Using the firm's in house case management system
- Keeping up to date with legal and regulatory developments
Candidate Requirements
- This role is suited to a lawyer with:
- 2-6 years' experience in Personal Injury / Serious Injury
- Experience handling higher value or complex cases
- Strong client care skills and a compassionate approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A proactive, organised and motivated mindset
- Confidence managing matters independently
- Strong litigation experience and ability to meet Court deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and Court attendances
- Additional experience within catastrophic injury work will be viewed favourably.
