A well established national law firm with over 30 years experience is seeking a Senior Residential Conveyancer to join its respected Residential Property team in Bristol. The firm has a strong reputation for excellence in the property sector and offers a supportive, friendly and professional working environment. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied caseload while taking on supervisory responsibilities within a growing team.

The Role

  • Handling a mixed residential caseload from instruction through to post completion, including:
  • Managing a varied and manageable caseload of residential conveyancing matters
  • Maintaining and developing strong client relationships
  • Supervising the team in the absence of the Legal Director
  • Working to strict deadlines in a fast paced but supportive environment liaising with legal secretaries, paralegals and trainee paralegals
  • Maintaining accurate electronic and paper based client records
  • Acting as a positive ambassador for the firm
  • Undertaking ongoing professional development

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified conveyancer with:
  • Solicitor, FCILEx or CLC qualification
  • 6+ years PQE in residential conveyancing (desirable)
  • Strong technical knowledge of property law
  • Ability to supervise, mentor and support junior team members
  • Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach
  • Strong problem solving ability and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competence in using legal IT systems and Microsoft Office
