Chadwick Nott are delighted to be assisting a nationally recognised law firm in their search for a Senior or Managing Associate to join their Employment team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Chambers UK and Legal 500 ranked team, working alongside "Leading Individuals" and contributing to a thriving national practice.
The Role
- Leading complex Employment Tribunal claims (primarily for Respondents)
- Advising employers on disciplinaries, grievances, restructures, and redundancies
- Providing employment law support on TUPE, corporate deals, and outsourcing contracts
- Enforcing post-termination restrictive covenants
- Drafting employment contracts, consultancy agreements, settlement agreements, and related documentation
- Collaborating with senior colleagues on business development strategy
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
Candidate Requirements
- At least 5 years' PQE in employment law
- Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills
- Proven ability to manage complex workloads and meet deadlines
- Client-focused approach and relationship-building experience
- Experience supervising or managing junior lawyers
- Ambition to contribute to the firm's growth locally and nationally
- Commitment to working in a collaborative, team-based environment
