This is a standout opportunity for an experienced family lawyer to lead on high-value matrimonial finance matters while contributing to the growth and strategy of a thriving department. The RoleThis is a senior, client-facing position offering the opportunity to manage complex family law matters and play a key role in business development.
Responsibilities include:
Advising on all aspects of family law, with a focus on high-value matrimonial finance, divorce, and prenuptial agreementsManaging a personal caseload independently, maintaining high standards of client careLeading on complex financial remedy cases with strategic, pragmatic adviceMentoring junior lawyers and contributing to a collaborative team cultureEngaging in networking and business development initiativesCollaborating with marketing and leadership to raise the team's profileStaying up to date with evolving legislation and case lawWorking cross-departmentally to deliver full-service legal supportContributing to planning, budgeting, and team developmentCandidate RequirementsThis role is suited to a solicitor with:8+ years PQE in family law, ideally with experience in high-value matrimonial financeStrong technical expertise and excellent client-handling skillsA proactive, enthusiastic approach and strong interpersonal abilitiesExperience mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to team developmentCommercial awareness and a strategic mindsetA collaborative spirit and commitment to delivering exceptional serviceWorking ArrangementsThis role supports hybrid working, with flexibility to work from home and from the Exeter office, depending on client and team needs.
