A leading UK law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Dispute Resolution team in Bristol. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on high-value insurance policyholder disputes and broader commercial litigation for national and international clients.
The Role
This Bristol-based position offers exposure to complex and strategic disputes across sectors such as:
- Insurance coverage (policyholder focus)
- Professional negligence and warranty claims
- Commercial contracts and shareholder disputes
- Financial services and banking litigation
You\’ll work closely with a Legal 500-ranked partner and collaborate across teams including corporate, finance, and real estate. You\’ll also be encouraged to contribute to business development and sector initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- 5+ years PQE with strong experience in commercial litigation
- Proven expertise in insurance coverage disputes
- Experience handling High Court and arbitration matters
- Excellent interpersonal and client-handling skills
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking
- SRA registered lawyer
- Interest in mentoring and developing junior colleagues
- Enthusiasm for practice growth and client development
Experience in any of the following insurance areas is desirable:
- Professional Indemnity
- Directors\’ and Officers\’ Liability
- Cyber Insurance
- Property and Casualty
- Warranty and Indemnity
- Construction Insurance
Working Arrangements
