A well established and highly regarded law firm is seeking a Residential Property Solicitor / Lawyer (3+ PQE) to join its growing team in Salisbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded conveyancer to take on high quality work, contribute to business development, and play a key role in the continued growth of the department.
The Role
- You will manage a varied and high quality caseload of residential property matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Transfers of equity
- Remortgages
- New build transactions
- Shared ownership and Help to Buy matters
- Managing files from instruction through to completion
- Delivering an efficient, consistent service in line with CQS and Conveyancing Protocol requirements
- Contributing to the team's financial performance through effective file management and billing
- Building and maintaining strong referrer relationships with agents, brokers, developers and repeat clients
Candidate Requirements
- 3+ years' PQE in residential conveyancing
- Strong technical knowledge across all core residential property matters
- Confidence managing files independently from instruction to completion
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Commercial awareness, including an understanding of profitability and service delivery
- Proven ability - or a clear plan - to build and maintain introducer relationships
- Ability to balance quality, volume and client expectations in a busy environment
- Motivation, ambition and a desire to contribute to team growth
